Download Via the Command Line

Overview

If you would like to download your file directly onto a remote machine (e.g., an AWS EC2 instance), you can download generated bulk downloads via the command line. Here we describe how to download files via command line using cURL command.

Download Files 

To download files using the command line:

1) Go to the Downloads page to view generated downloads.

2) Click on Details underneath a download name of interest. A side panel will appear on the right-side of the page.

3) Click the Advanced Download tab.

4) Copy the cURL command in the grey box to your clipboard. This command will download and extract the files into a folder in your current working directory.

5) Paste the cURL command in your Terminal or Command Prompt. You can adjust the command to download files to a specific location.
