Viewing Sample and Taxon Details in the Heatmap

Overview

This guide describes how to find more information about samples and/or taxa of interest in heatmaps.

To view details about a sample:

Click the sample name (find the name of interest above the heatmap grid).
A Sample Details panel will open on the right-hand side of the page. The panel includes the sample's metadata and pipeline run details within the "Metadata" and "Pipelines" tabs, respectively.
Use the "See Report" link to navigate to the sample’s report page.

To view more information about a specific taxon:

Click on the taxon name.
A Taxon Details panel will open on the right-hand side of the page. The panel includes a taxon description and links to external resources (e.g., NCBI, Pubmed, and Wikipedia).
