Saving a Heatmap
You can save a heatmap and return to it later. This is a great way to preserve a set of filters and heatmap settings that you think might be useful in the future. Click the Save button in the right-hand corner of the heatmap between the Share and Download buttons.
You can find all of your saved heatmaps in the Visualizations tab under My Data
Downloading a Heatmap
Name | File Type | Description |

Download All Heatmap Metrics | CSV | Computed metrics (e.g. total reads, rPM, etc) for all samples x taxa in the heatmap |
Download Current Heatmap Metrics | CSV | Computed metric (e.g. rPM) for samples x taxa in the current heatmap view with applied filters (if any) |
Download SVG | SVG | Image file for displayed heatmap view |
Download PNG | PNG | Image file for displayed heatmap view |
Combined Microbiome Download | BIOM | The value of the viewed metric (e.g. total reads or rPM) for all taxa in the heatmap, combined into a single file alongside sample and taxon metadata with the applied filters |
